As a consultant, I believe you don’t need someone imposing their design choices on your home. Most people only need guidance and assistance in identifying design options in order to reveal their own style. Inspiration can begin with your favorite print or pillow. Redesigning Guidelines
- Think through what’s already working and what your goals are for the space.
- Look at furniture, art and accessories for inspiration and functionality.
- Clear out everything that isn’t meaningful and essential.
- Trust your instincts and experiment with your ideas – use of color and texture, furniture placement, etc.
- Be prepared with the measurements, fabric/color swatches, photos of the space.
